CONCERT ARRANGEMENTS
LARGER AUDIENCES - FOUR STRATEGIES
ACT undertakes four distinct strategies to assure good-sized audiences at your choir’s concerts: Scheduling Tour Concert(s) Into Existing Concert Series
There are several ongoing concert series in Buenos Aires, taking place on a weekly or monthly basis, with new series being introduced frequently. These concert series generally have a loyal following assuring substantial audiences (usually in the hundreds) at each concert. Depending on your tour schedule we make every effort to schedule you into one of the more popular concert series in the city. Our connections with series directors generally assure that your ensemble will be very welcome to participate.
Joint Concerts With 1-3 Local Ensembles
One of the best ways to assure substantial audiences at your performances is to schedule joint concerts or mini-festivals with up to three local choirs joining your ensemble. In addition to the camaraderie and fellowship that this arrangement fosters, you are assured that many of the family and friends of the local choirs will attend the concerts, thereby forming a solid foundation for a good-sized audience.
Performances In Smaller Nearby Cities
Often performing in smaller towns is more rewarding than singing in large cities. Such communities are visited infrequently by international ensembles so a performance by your ensemble would be a big event and the turnout very good. Additionally, the choral communities of such towns are often led by one or two dominant figures who make sure that everybody knows about your concert and encourages them to attend. ACT is very well-connected with the leadership of many such smaller cities.
E-mail Network Of Choral Directors & Singers
ACT has put together an e-mail network of choral directors, and by extension their singers, with the goal of having hundreds and eventually thousands of individuals from the Argentine choral community that we can send e-mails to with information on concerts by visiting choirs from the U.S.
